JAMAICAN SPACE ROCK

In a departure from the traditional reggae songwriting intrinsic to Jamaican Dub, Grimy Styles draws inspiration from many artists spanning from Pink Floyd to Slayer and Astor Piazzola to U2. Classically inspired melodica and guitar drive melodies while drum and bass point back to the fundamental rhythm of King Tubby and Lee “Scratch” Perry. Grimy is in the process of writing a new album and have some killer new material –  they’ll be sure to play old favorites as well.
