Hailing from the streets of Kingston, Jamaica, Kabaka brings a unique musical style blending the power, energy and melody of reggae with the lyricism of hip hop. Through his liquid and hypnotizing delivery spreads the positive messages of spirituality and conscious evolution that forces you to listen.

The name “Kabaka” is Ugandan for “King” and the long lasting survival of the Pyramids of ancient Africa represent his desire for longevity in the music and deep connection to Kemetic roots; leaving messages for generations to come.

With a mission to steer future generations towards harmony and unity Kabaka  Pyramid is primed and focused on bringing a righteous and conscious way of thinking to the masses through reggae music.

“With a solid list of skills not only in the booth but on the mixing board, and an array of lyrics that preach a message of love, self-awareness and African pride, Kabaka Pyramid is well on his way to a career that should not only lead to greatness but also lead a lot of fans to righteousness” Aesthetics Now Mag.

Joining Kabaka is Iba MaHr, a young Jamaican sensation celebrating the authentic Jamaican reggae/ lover’s rock genre. With Rastafari as his inspiration, roots and culture is MaHr’s main focus along with social commentary and soulful-reggae love songs that speaks out to the hearts of people, those in love or out of love.  Iba Mahr’s music ranges from reggae, lovers rock and soulful roots genre.

“I take pleasure in doing love songs. Essentially, I am inspired to sing about real life occurrences, but in reality as artistes, we create melodies then connect words to them to craft stories that reflect other people’s lives. The energy, mood and my emotion at times may affect how a song might turn out. Feelings, be it sombre, joyful or sorrow, also play a part. People need redemption songs, especially in these times of division and world crisis. I can only say that Reggae music is a medium through which we connect and touch people in any situation, so I work to preserve its legacy.”

Check out both of these artists below and come join us for a show that’s sure to get your feet moving and the love flowing. DJ Jahflex opens the show; Winston’s Kitchen will be on hand with Caribbean Fare.
