His distinctive lyrical style\, rooted in hip-hop and reggae\, quickly established him as one of the leading voices of a new generation of Jamaican artists. \n\n\n\nBorn Keron Salmon\, Kabaka developed his sound with the Bebble Team\, which became the foundation for his independent label\, Bebble Rock. International touring and releases including “No Capitalist\,” “Mi Alright” with Chronixx and “Well Done\,” produced by Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley\, expanded his global following. His 2018 debut album Kontraband\, produced in collaboration with Damian Marley\, reached No. 3 on Billboard’s reggae chart and included the popular singles “Reggae Music\,” “Can’t Breathe” and “Kontraband.” \n\n\n\nKabaka reached another career milestone with his acclaimed 2022 album The Kalling\, featuring Damian Marley\, Stephen Marley\, Protoje\, Jesse Royal and Buju Banton.
